About the event
KINGS’ Table is an intentional, culturally grounded dinner series designed to create a brave, affirming space for Black men to engage in meaningful dialogue, healing, and brotherhood. Rooted in tradition, storytelling, and shared meals, KINGS’ Table invites participants to sit together as equals—leaders, learners, elders, and emerging voices.
This January 18th installment centers the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Civil Rights Movement, and the mental health realities of Black men—past, present, and future. While Dr. King is often remembered for his courage and moral clarity, less discussed is the emotional, psychological, and spiritual toll of racial trauma, leadership, and resistance. This gathering invites Black men to reflect honestly on how the fight for justice has shaped our mental health, coping strategies, and collective resilience.
RSVPs are free and dinner will be provided. Attire is professional. We will see you there!
