Fatherhood Forward: Black Fathers Matter

Fatherhood Forward  is a Black Men’s Xchange (BMX) event designed to create a culturally affirming space for Black fathers to connect, reflect, and build community. Grounded in the Critical Thinking and Cultural Affirmation (CTCA) framework, this program promotes dialogue, wellness, and personal growth. Through community discussion we will identify struggles & obstacles that impede black fathers and develop resources that empower Black fathers and their children.

This event addresses the need for safe, intentional spaces where Black fathers can engage in meaningful conversations around identity, mental health, relationships, and community.

Our first meeting will be moderated by David Marshall of Journey To Josiah and will tackle the topic of what Is means to be a father of an adoptive child.
