The Vibe Check

The Vibe Check is a monthly live musical showcase and networking experience designed to bring together musicians, vocalists, producers, poets, and creatives for fellowship, collaboration, and skill sharing in an affirming and high-energy environment.

Hosted by Black Men’s Xchange (BMX) in partnership with Sheritta Harris, Founder of The Vibe Check, this event takes place every second Thursday of each month at Ema's Corner. Featuring a live band, performance opportunities, and intentional networking moments, The Vibe Check creates space for emerging and established artists to build relationships, exchange skills, and grow together.

As a consistent monthly offering, this event serves as both a cultural activation and an on-ramp into the BMX ecosystem—introducing new individuals to BMX’s broader mission, programming, and community.
